Bison trampling crops is hilarious, but they also trample grasses, which means 'herd of bison' is mutually exclusive with 'wild prairie', and that's just wrong. If you can remove just grasses and flowers from their trampling, fantastic! If not, maybe better to have no trampling at all, than have bison denuding the wilderness.
