Hey, there is a small narrow gauge type of steam locomotive called a quarry Hunslet that used to run in the Welsh slate quarries and in preservation are used for passenger services on various heritage railways. I feel these would be vary suitable for a game where a big part of it is mining. They do also come in 2 types one with a cab and one without. It would also be cool of the engines carried a name depending on wat colour dye you use for it for example:
