Maple Trees And Subsequent Food Items And Mechanics

What if a new tree is added? The Maple Tree. It wouldn't bare any fruit (but it could possibly be used for decorative purposes to have a "fall vibe" for your base) but if you peel the bark off with an axe and put a spout in, you would be able to collect sap.
The sap would only come out during the time changing from night to day (perhaps sped up with the player sleeping?) and would need to be collected with a cauldron (the rate of filling would probably be the same as filling a cauldron with water bottles).
Collecting the sap with a bucket and boiling it in a pot turns it into Maple Syrup (probably to be collected with bottles afterwards so you get more out of farming it)!
The Maple Syrup can be added onto a new item, the Pancake (and it can also be added onto the Waffle).
The Pancake (and subsequent Waffle) would get a crafting rewrite, where you have to make batter and put it in a pan (the Waffle would have to cooked in a Waffle Iron, but the use of extra iron to make that equipment can be worth it for the new benefit the Waffle has).
What are the differences and benefits between Pancakes and Waffles?
Pancakes can be eaten 3 times before the item is used (Cause it's a stack of Pancakes), the use of Butter and Syrup doesn't benefit the hunger bar that much (at least, like, one extra hunger bar).
Waffles can only be eaten once, but the use of Butter and Syrup greatly increases hunger bars (the subsequent benefit I mentioned earlier) (the reason it adds more hunger bars is because of the divots in the Waffle which would hold more Syrup and Butter).
What if you can make donuts with Batter? You would have to extract oil from certain crops (like Peanuts) using an Extractor. Using the Oil on a Pot / Pan on a Stove will allow the use of Batter.
Mixing Butter and Sugar together will yield Frosting, adding other ingredients during the process will make different types of Frosting for you to put on the Donuts.
Adding things into the sap during the boiling process, subsequently being able to produce items such as Chocolate Syrup and Strawberry Syrup.
What if you can make Soda? You would have to make a Carbonator to carbonate bottles of water, afterwards you would add different syrups to make different flavors of Soda.
Fallen leafs. They act like stackable snow, and you have to regularly remove the leafs in order to produce the maximum amount of sap from the Maple Tree.
