Long time ago I saw a java mod that adds an animal feeder. Basically what it does, we can put desired foods in them and animals can eat from those pots and would be able to breed automatically. Recently Crops & Farms add-on also added a few items like that.
And if you consider doing that, then make an option to select how many animals can be breed.
